LILAC PARTNER INTERNSHIP - MD Anderson Cancer Center Internship
Bryn Mawr College is working with senior leadership at MD Anderson to establish a more formal partnership with the MD Anderson Summer Undergraduate Research Program. MD Anderson has graciously offered two positions in this particular program for qualified Bryn Mawr College students.

Please note that the only program that is offering a modified application process and deadline is the Summer Undergraduate Research Program. If you are interested in any of the other summer experiences listed, we would encourage you to apply by the deadlines. Feel free to let Katie Krimmel, Associate Dean of LILAC, know if you decide to apply to one of the other programs and we can let our contacts at MD Anderson know that you have submitted an application.
For students interested in the two available spots in the Summer Undergraduate Research Program please follow the steps below:
- Step 1: If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply via this Bryn Mawr Qualtrics Application form by 11:59PM ET PM on January 7, 2019 - https://brynmawr.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3rd8fa8c3TvAeAl You MUST apply through this link and NOT through this Handshake listing to be considered.
- Step 2: A Bryn Mawr committee of faculty and staff will review the submissions by January 11th and send qualified applicants to MD Anderson. Please note that Career and Professional Development staff do not serve on the selection committee.
- Step 3: Once identified, selected applicants will be contacted to submit a formal application through MD Anderson by January 17, 2019.
Selected students will be notified on January 11. Once notified, selected students must apply through the MD Anderson portal by January 17 AND must also turn in two letters of recommendation by January 24.
Funding for the summer positions will be available in the amount of $6,000 (minus taxes). This opportunity is funded by LILAC. Selected students will participate in the LILAC Summer Funding Program. Please note that only students who apply through this LILAC Internship Partner Application will be considered for this LILAC funded-opportunity.
